About the Gallery

Rosa Calabrese is the owner of The Painted Lady Gallery established in 2007. Rosa graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. After graduation Rosa explored various employments in the art field, curatorial, framing, and teaching. Rosa is currently employed at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection and has been an educator at the gallery for the past three years. As an artist Rosa has exhibited in several solo and group shows around the city. She enjoys painting a variety of subject matter and is currently focusing on landscape and figurative works.

The Painted Lady Gallery aims to exhibit original works of art created by local and international artists. Each artist represented by the gallery has extensive training in the art field and are active members in their community. The vision of the gallery is to showcase works that will create a dialogue for humans and their raw emotions.
